Kanye’s Blog

Out of all the blogs I check, I get real psyched to check Kanye’s blog. The content is pretty good, but I do admit there is just come copy and past stuff that he throws up… But it’s dope to see someone with his status, still getting psyched about so many dope things. I am also very impressed with how much he updates it. Kanye is on the road pretty much full time and still manages to throw lots of posts up on a very regular basis. I guess if you are always traveling, you just get used to it…

NIKE CLIPLESS SHOE

Nike is coming out with shoes for the US team in the Olympics, since BMX is represented they made a clipless shoe.



"At the upcoming Olympics in Beijing Nike will be involved with design product for all 28 sports, which is contrast from 11 sports four years ago in Athens. An interesting addition not only to the Olympics games but also Nike is the sport of BMX which has been growing since its induction during the 1970's, as both a competitive sport and and one on the streets.

“Looks like a dunk, but acts like Lance’s cleat.” That statement sums up the power and impact of the Nike Dunk Gyrizo, a shoe specifically designed for BMX racing. The Gyrizo, which is Greek for wheel, is actually built on the same cycling last as Lance Armstrong’s cleat. The external portion of the shoe looks like Nike’s wildly popular Dunk model, but the design of the internal plate transfers power in the up and down strokes of the rider. A strap on the upper and a lace pocket keep laces out of the rider’s spokes while a durable outsole compound was integrated to accommodate a wider bike pedal. Kevlar lace and metal grommets are also used to maximize durability. Rubber and thinner midsole on the shoe allow a rider to walk easily before and after races.



personally i think they look sick, i can see myself using them as i think im getting sick of straps, but then carrying a second set of shoes sucks dick, if im ridding somewhere and on my feet the rest of the day. So theres the dilemma and it seems Nike have provided the solution, of course at what we can only expect will be a heft price tag. But none the less i fucking want a pair like fucking now!

I've emailed Nike to find out when i can get a pair and whats the RRP.

Ohh yeh and who knew BMX was this years new Olympic sport?

So, i found some roles of film which i assumed were from my fisheye so i gave them to Will whos a bit of a photog, he's taken some pretty darn cool pics check them out, here. As the story goes, Will gets back to me the same day to tell me that the first role is defiantly not fisheye pics. This intrigues me, later on after the negs have dried will scans them and sends them to me via the interwebs.

It took me a while to figure out where they came from and such but, i pin pointed that they were taken in 2006 around May.

So i thought some of the photos turned out ok so i thought i'd share. +, as Will said the Photos from Hosier Lane are a good indication of change as many of the pieces photographed are no longer there, times of change and what not.
